Over 30 Years of Experience in Immigration Law

I founded Albamonte Immigration Law because I wanted to protect individuals and families facing our challenging immigration system. I wanted to help people who have dreams for the future as well as those whose futures are in question. I wanted to reunite families, help individuals obtain the visas they need to work in the United States, and defend good people against deportation.

No matter what immigration challenges you face, I can offer assistance. During the past 30 years, I have focused my professional career on immigration law and policy. Here is how my experience can help you:

  • I know immigration law. I have trained and mentored numerous immigration lawyers on issues ranging from U.S. citizenship law to President Obama's executive orders on deferred action. I stay up to date on all immigration law changes. No matter how complex your case, I have probably seen a similar case and know what to do.
  • I know the courts. In my prior employment, I was the Deputy Chief Counsel for ICE at the Stewart Detention Center in Lumpkin, Georgia, where I supervised immigration trial attorneys. I know what it takes to succeed in immigration court, and I will do everything in my power to help you avoid deportation or other immigration consequences.
  • I know about immigration appeals. If the government denies your application to stay in the United States, your case may not be over. I have extensive experience in immigration appeals because of my 20 years of experience as an attorney advisor with the Board of Immigration Appeals, where I researched and drafted thousands of complex immigration appeals decisions for the Board.
